Classic Caddie Clubs.

Classic Caddie curates classic golf clubs chosen to be played, not collected.

We focus on designs that still make sense for modern golfers - clubs that reward rhythm, offer honest feedback, and encourage understanding rather than dependence.

Many of the best examples already exist. Finding the right ones requires judgement.

That’s where Classic Caddie comes in.

How we think about our clubs.

Age alone doesn’t make a club worth playing.

Some classic designs remain coherent, capable tools. Others don’t. Our role is to tell the difference - and to match the right clubs to the right golfer, rather than chasing nostalgia or reputation.

We don’t curate by brand or by era. We curate by how clubs behave in the hands of real golfers, over real rounds.

What we look for.

When assessing classic clubs, we prioritise:

  • coherence across the set

  • honest feedback at impact

  • playability without gimmicks

  • shaping that encourages rhythm

  • designs that reward use, not preservation

If a club can’t support enjoyable, repeatable golf today, it doesn’t belong here - regardless of its reputation.

Golfer first, always.

Every golfer responds differently to equipment.

Some value precision and clarity. Others want consistency and reassurance. Some are drawn to feel and flow; others to simplicity and reliability. No single design suits everyone - and no golfer needs to chase what doesn’t fit them.

That’s why we start with the golfer, not the club.

How this becomes practical.

We make classic clubs available in ways that encourage understanding.

Sometimes that’s through ownership. Often it’s through time spent playing - over rounds, in different conditions, without pressure. And occasionally it’s through shared days on the course, where comparison and conversation matter as much as outcome.

The aim is always the same: clarity through experience.

The clubs shown across the site are current examples - not a complete catalogue.

Availability changes regularly. What matters is not whether a specific set is present, but whether the underlying design principles suit the golfer. Where appropriate, we can often suggest comparable alternatives even as individual sets move on.

Availability and flexibility.
